How We Maintain Your Site Every Month.
Review
We check your site for outdated plugins, theme conflicts, and anything that could affect performance or security.
Update
Core, plugins, and theme updates are applied and tested. Everything is checked before and after to make sure nothing breaks.
Test
We verify all updates applied cleanly, test key pages for functionality, and check for any compatibility issues.
Confirm
You receive a monthly email confirming everything that was completed, with a direct link to submit a content update request if needed.

Will my site go down during updates?
No. All updates are applied carefully to minimize any disruption. In most cases your site stays fully live throughout the process. If anything requires a brief maintenance window, we will notify you in advance.
What does the 1 hour content update include?
One hour of hands-on edits to your site each month. Text changes, image swaps, page updates, anything your site needs to stay current. Unused hours do not roll over.
What if I need more than 1 hour of content updates per month?
The Premium Plan includes 1 hour of content updates monthly. If you need more, the Custom Plan lets us build a scope around your publishing schedule and content volume. Contact us and we will put together the right fit.
Can I request a new page or section for my site?
Maintenance plans cover updates and content changes to your existing site. Designing new pages or building new sections is a separate service. To get started, visit the Client Portal and submit a Support Ticket with the details of what you need. We will scope it and get back to you.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Do you handle hosting as well?
Yes. TAO Digital offers fully managed WordPress hosting starting at $220 per year. Many clients pair their maintenance plan with our hosting for complete, hands-off website management. See our Managed Hosting page for details.
Do I need a maintenance plan if my site does not change often?
Yes. WordPress, plugins, and themes release updates constantly, regardless of whether your content changes. Outdated software is the most common cause of hacks, broken pages, and site downtime. Maintenance protects your site even when nothing visible is changing.
How is this different from what my hosting company already does?
Most hosting companies provide server space and keep the infrastructure running. They do not update your WordPress core, test your plugins, fix compatibility issues, or make content changes. TAO Digital handles the WordPress layer completely, which is everything your hosting company does not touch.
Do you work with sites you did not build?
Yes. As long as your site runs on WordPress, we can onboard it onto a maintenance plan. We do an initial site review to flag any existing issues before your first maintenance cycle begins.
